**Fair warning...this post has lots of pics!!**
Sooo, the hubs built me a new fire pit..and just in time for the cooler weather!!
we started with this bare patch of grass where the trampoline was...
and put down the first layer of stone...
then started with the sides...
and then my boys took a break, because CLEARLY they had been working so hard!!
but the hubs continued on...
{ he did finish it that evening...but because I was feeling lazy and quite tired of dealing with the mosquitoes being the good mother that I am, I took the boys in for a bath and bedtime and didn't get a completed picture until...
We Mulched!! {and be "we" I mean my hubby, duh!}
{ if you couldn't tell by hubs Alabama hat, Alabama t-shirt, Alabama tags, Alabama flags and Alabama decals, YES, we are Alabama fans... and no, it's not easy, considering the fact that we live deep in the heart of UT Vol country...as in 3 miles from campus!!}
{ not quiet sure what my oldest is doing with a rake..but I can't judge, cause he was clearly working harder than me!!}
the little one didn't much either...except stand there and look cute!!
then hubs painted the chairs with his handy dandy paint sprayer thingy...and I planted some mums...yes, that was about as much work as I did on the fire pit area...and yes, I am still taking credit for the whole thing!!
we love it! we used it just this past weekend for my boy's birthday party and again tonight for a little while after dinner!!!
